Thank you but this site does not give the 2007 cost of the paris pass. It does give the current cost of 10 tickets. I am not clear on the pass if bought for 3 days - does this mean 3 cosecutive days similiar to carte orange%26#39; - thanks

Like SArnott says, all info (about cost of a %26quot;carnet%26quot; or a Paris Visite ticket) is on the RATP site. A one-day PV pass for zones 1-3 will be €8.50, for example. They also exist for 2, 3 or 5 consecutive days, and for zones 1-6. Before first use, you write the date on the card. By the way, some rates change slightly as of July 1st.

You also mention a %26quot;Paris Pass%26quot; - this is something different from the Paris Visite pass, and the RATP (Paris transport authorities) has little or nothing to do with it. See the separate website: www.paris-pass.com

Note that there are more of these passes: the Paris Museum Pass (www.parismuseumpass.com), the Carte Musées et Monuments, etc. They%26#39;re hard to compare, you%26#39;ll have to decide for yourself whether you think they%26#39;re worth the money, depending on which museums and attractions you plan to visit.

We bought the viste but if I had to do it again I would just buy the book of single passes. It was 1.40 a trip and a 5 day viste was 27 euro , one day was 8.50 so you really needed to do 3 round trips/ day before you saved anything, most days we did only one round trip. We bought the museum pass and the metro pass but if I went again I would just buy individual tickets. It was convenient but it did cost more in the long run to have the pass.
