Paris Hotel

Hi Folks,

Im hoping to go to Paris from the 9th to the 13th August with my fiance. I need to book it tomorrow as her birthday present. Can anyone recommend an area of Paris to stay in? Would the Novotel Paris Gare Montparnasse be a good choice and close enough to the sites on Paris?

The Novotel Gare Montparnasse is a newish hotel, I believe and Novotels are nice. The location has good connections to the sights via bus and metro, but I wouldn%26#39;t say you could walk to a lot of them.

Have a look at these (they have availability):

Thanks very much for your suggestions. Im going to check out those hotels that you mentioned and see which ones are available. if not then travelling by Metro might be the only way from the Novotel.

If you end up by Montparnasse, it will be ok. Read the hotel reviews for the Lenox-Montparnasse hotel and you might find tips about the area. Also use the forum search, enter %26quot;Montparnasse%26quot; and you%26#39;ll get a lot of threads with information, some from me!

Instead of rushing into booking a trip to Paris for her Birthday(unless you have already been researching this for a couple of days) I would suggest getting a really awsome card and maybe a picture in a frame of the Eiffel Tower to let her know this is her present.

Then you will not feel so hard pressed to make a rush choice if this is both of your first trips to Paris.

Cheers,
