How to get from cruise disembark to hotel in Nice?

We%26#39;ll be disembarking in Nice and will then spend 3 nights at Hotel La Perouse. I have no idea how big the Nice port is or where exactly we%26#39;ll b berthing. I%26#39;m wondering if someone can tell me whether that%26#39;ll be an easy place to get a taxi to the hotel-- or whether it%26#39;d be better to see if La Perouse can send a car to get us. Problem with the latter idea is that I%26#39;m not sure exactly when we%26#39;ll be able to leave the ship. (We%26#39;re %26quot;oldsters%26quot; and will have some luggage, so don%26#39;t want to have to haul around looking for bus service, that kind of thing.)

La Perouse is about 800m from the port, there are normally taxis waiting when a ship berths,
