metro pass questions???

Can you use your metro pass at staions that are not manned? Is the pass the type you can swipe in the ticket entrance? Are they available at all stations from the machines? We arrive on a Friday and leave the next Friday - can we buy a pass for this type of week or is it only for a Mon-Sun? Thanks

Metro passes, like the Carte Orange and Paris Visite, consist of an ID card with your name, etc., and a ticket sized coupon that you use for the turnstiles in all stations, just like you would with a regular ticket. The Carte Orange coupon can be bought from (some) machines, but it is only valid if you already have the ID card (and if you have copied the number of the ID card onto the coupon!)

The Carte Orange (week) card is always valid from monday morning until the last service of sunday night. Maybe the Paris Visite, or the Mobilis day tickets, work better in your case?
