We are going to paris june 1, we would like to rent car to drive to nice. how long and how far is it?

take the TGV down to Avignon it takes 2:45. Rent a car right there from hertz in the TGV station to drive to nice which will be another 2.5 hours. Much better that way. Between the tolls and the gas, train will work out much cheaper as well as faster. Cheaper that is as long as you use the SNCF direct site, not the English language site which I won%26#39;t name here that tends to be almost double the price. Do an internet search and you%26#39;ll find instructions on how to use the SNCF site for english speakers.
