We are staying in Montmarte - it was a cheap deal from Toronto-is this area part of zone 1-3?Our hotel metro stop I think is Rue de Clichy which only has a turnstile from what I have read - can the paris visite be used at this stop?

all of Paris -- all 20 eme are within Zones 1-2. Montmartre included.

Zones 1-2 are within the Boulevard Perepherique, the location of an ring of walls at one point in time. It%26#39;s now a big beltway of traffic jams. You can%26#39;t miss it. Paris Visite covers everything within that ring and more. Zones 3+ are outside of that ring; and are where you find suburbs, Orly airport, Charles de Gaulle airport, Versailles, etc.
