Pezenas to Gorges du Tarn

My husband and I are going to Languedoc %26amp; Provance for 14 days next September and we are now thinking of our itinerary. We are staying first 7 nights near Pezenas and planning to do day trips from there (we will have a car). One of the day trips we are planning is to drive from Pezeans to the Millau Viaduct to see the bridge and carry on from there to St Enemie, via Gorges du Tarn %26amp; Point Sublime. Is this doable in one day or are we mad to even thinking of it? Its just that I%26#39;d love to see the Gorges du Tarn...

Hi

Pezenas to the Millau bridge is very fast being highway.

Millau to St Enimie is not very far, but can be a slow road. It should be OK in September although probably still best to avoid weekends.

Pezenas to St Enimie is a half day drive, so you have time for lunch and some sightseeing along the way.

Try viamichellin.com for a possible routing and travel time estimate for your suggested trip. Appears doable, though have found travel through the Gorges to be very slow, with winding, narrow roads. Doesn%26#39;t matter tho--it%26#39;s well worth the effort---this is one spectacular area ,definitely in the %26quot; not to be missed%26#39; category. We were there last month and it was easily the scenic highlight of out of our almost one month travels around the southern part of France.

Bon Voyage!
