6 Days in Provence

We would like to drive along from St. Tropez to Nice, and if possible takea day trip to the Alps. Any suggestions? This will be in early October.

Annecy is far too far away for a day trip. I understand that you may enjoy a mountain trip away from the Côte d%26#39;azur. What you could do is:

- from Nice, go to The Mercantour, Saint Martin de Vésubie and the Vallée des Merveilles: beautiful landscapes, wild nature; have a look:

- from Saint Tropez, go to les gorges du Verdon (Verdon canyon) and Saint André Les Alpes; have a look
