weather

What is the temperature right now in Paris? We are traveling there in a couple of weeks. What can we expect for July temps?

since you obviously have a computer -- why don%26#39;t you google up a weather site or two and look at some 10 day forecasts for Paris?

you can probably set it so that Paris weather pops up every time you dial up CNN for example -- and while 10 day forecasts are iffy -- they are readily available on line

According to Yahoo weather on my home page, seems to be raining every day. Hope it clears up before I get there next week!

It was cloudy and rainy the entire time we were in France (just returned saturday). The day we were at Versailles wandering the gardens the sun was out making us hot, the wind blew and then the rain came down in gusts and then the sun came out again. Much the same thing happened in Paris. We managed to be on top of the Arc de Triomph when the lightening and rain hit. But it was only about half an hour and then the rain went away though the clouds stayed.

In other words, be prepared for anything, wear layers, and bring an umbrella. It was thoroughly enjoyable nevertheless and somehow preferrable to the 90s at home.

I don%26#39;t know what sort of answers you are expecting.

Whatever the temperature is in Paris right now, what bearing does it have on what it will be in a couple of weeks time; and in any case, as Graceh9 says, you can look at any number of weather sites and find out that information yourself each day until you go.

As for what it will be in two weeks time, not even the professional weather forecasters with their super computers can tell you that.

I am sorry but I have read a couple of sarcastic posts from grace9. May I ask that you refrain from them? If you find the questions simple, or foolish than just be kind and say nothing at all. We are here to help one another not judge.

We experieced the same weather as Kbecjeans. When the sun was out it was hot, in the mid 80%26#39;s. The wind would pick up and rain came down hard. It would be over in about 30 mins and the sun came out again. We carried a little cheap umbrella in my bag and used it often. The weather forcast on accuweather was pretty accurate the closer we got to our travel dates.

har8cin5, I forgot to say: Well put on the grace comments.

It%26#39;s really hard to judge what the weather will be like even a couple of days from now. I checked the weather daily before my trip June 6-16. I did get a little help from the TA forum. The weather sites said daily thunderstorms with highs in the 70%26#39;s. We were lucky with slightly cloudy, slightly humid and perfect weather in the low to high 70%26#39;s, except for one day when it actually did storm and we got stuck in a public bathroom just inside the Tuileries for about 30 minutes. Otherwise, the weather was great.

My advice: check the weather channel, weather.com, wunderground.com, or any other weather site, and ask Parisians on TA for actual weather advice just before you leave. I know this means you%26#39;ll do some last minute packing, but that%26#39;s better than overpacking. It%26#39;s probably a good idea to just pack light layers and take an umbrella. Worst case scenario, you can buy some clothes in Paris. :)

harcin -- there is nothing sarcastic about suggesting that someone asking about weather in Paris seek out a weather site

and there is nothing sarcastic about suggesting that when someone posts %26#39;I am going to Paris what should I do%26#39; they might want to review a guidebook first and have some rough idea so that they can ask questions for which experienced travelers might have helpful answers

Hi

I always use www.weatherbase.com to get an impression of the weather. But this only gives weather stats of course so you should check the weather forecast right before you go :-)
