St. Tropez versus Monte Carlo

Hi,

Friends who have never been to either St. Tropez or Monte Carlo need help deciding which one to stop and see on their honeymoon. They will be on a boat so getting there will not be a problem. Is one more exciting than the other to see? I know Monaco but haven%26#39;t been to St. Tropez in 30 years so can%26#39;t advise.

Thanx for any help!! Julie

I have just come back from the Cote d%26#39;Azur after my honeymoon and visited both. They are both worth visiting and if possible I would try and make time to see each of them. Monte Carlo has to be seen to be believed, massive yachts, expensive shops, top restaurants and of course the Casino%26#39;s. St Tropez is more picturesque with its beautiful old town of narrow streets and quayside cafebars. I really enjoyed them both for different reasons. Go to Monte Carlo for opulence and glamour, go to St Tropez to be enthrawled with is it quaint beauty.

St Tropez is really beautiful and charming with a lot of nice shops, nice beaches around (Pampelonne), but it%26#39;s really too much crowded in July and August. But St Tropez is a must see on Côte d%26#39;Azur!

Monaco (Monte-Carlo) is famous for its wealth, with plenty of Ferrari, Rolls Royce and super cars, but it%26#39;s more quiet. It%26#39;s a pleasant place, with big hotels, but it%26#39;s more a town with buildings rather than a village like St Tropez.

I know quite well both cities, if you have any question please ask.
