Teen age girls

We just returned from 10 days in Paris with our 15 year old grand-daughter. This is our third trip with our girls.

Caroline loved:

Bateau Mouche evening cruise and wished we had taken the dinner cruise

Shopping at Zara and H%26amp;M

Pompideau

Having a portrait %26quot;done%26quot; at Monmarte

Fashion show at Galleries Lafayette

Eiffel Tour at 10 pm to the top

Sunday at Luxembourg Gardens (doing a water color for her mom)

I am so glad to have read your comments. I am going next week with my 2 daughters, aged 12 and 15. They are less appreciative of culture than I am and I have been to Paris several times years ago. I have been confused about what to do to amuse everyone and I think your advise is giving me a great starting point. Did your also visit Versailles?

We took our first grand-daughter to Versaille as she asked to go there as well as to the Science Museum. She was 12 years old and very clear about what she wanted to do.

The next year we took another child and she did not want to go to any museums so we only went to the Pompidou which is great for everyone: including the lovely dining spot on the top floor.

The thing that Ed and I learned from this is...let them set the agenda!! We have been to Paris many times so on these trips we just listened to them and had them write down what they wanted to do. Two of them loved the fashion show at Galleries Lafayette and going into Louis Vuitton, etc. on the Champs Elysses.
