route to loire

driving from boulogne to the loire ,not sure where to stay for 3/4 days ,want to have about a 4 hour drive avoinding motorway`s.

looking for advice on wwhere would be a good place to stop to take in most sights,we are then driving down to the dordogne,montignac or beynac, and returnig to the somme area for a couple days,so a return itenary required as well.
