Renting an apartment?

I have tried for a number of years to find a sea front apartment to rent for 7 days at the end of June. A 1 bed with balcony would be preferred. This year I%26#39;ve managed to find a studio in Menton on the sea front but I%26#39;d be interested to know if anyone can recommend suitable websites to find holiday apartments on the Cote d%26#39;Azur rather than hotels?

Thanks.

I used VRBO.com for the rental I did in Nice. The one pointer I have in renting in the area is to be sure the apartment you rent has air conditioning. We didn%26#39;t have it and between the street noise and the extreme heat I deeply regretted it.

www.nicepebbles.com have an apartment on the Prom des Anglais in Nice.

As an apartment owner, I would recommend trying www.holidaylettings.co.uk or www.cheznous.com. However, the bad news is that July 1 is the first day of the summer holiday season so you will need to be persistent and very lucky.

Other lettings websites worth trying are:

www.holidaylets.net

www.travel-library.com

and

www.rentpropertydirect.com

The biggest one with the most choice has to be www.holiday-rentals.co.uk.
