Does anyone know who to contact in Cassis to book a ferry or boat tour of the calanques?

Don%26#39;t know - but when we day tripped to Cassis, we just booked our trip at the local Tourist Bureau..

We were there in September of 05 and had no problem walking right on a tour boat without a reservation.

I agree. No need to pre-book. Just walk up, pick a boat (or a skipper...) you like the look of, pay your money and you%26#39;re off!

thanks sidder! we%26#39;ll check once we get there.

Thank you!

How long should one devote to a tour of the calanques? Is it reasonable to try to combine this with a trip to ile de porquerolles in one day? Thanks in advance.

Eactly. No need to pre-book. Just walk up to the office at the port, pay your money and they%26#39;ll point you to whichever boat is going next.

We did a tour of 5 calanques that was about 1 hour 15 minutes, and seemed plenty long enough.

you cannot do both in one day...getting to the porquerolles is time consuming...i would just do cassis and the calanques. they have 3/5/8 calanques tours and even the eight is pretty quick about 2 hours. try to sunny weather as the colors are so much more intense. have fun. i have been on both trips and prefer cassis.
