August Challet in Chamonix

Hello. We live in Paris and have been to Chamonix twice in two summers a few summers ago, and stayed at the Club Med which used to have kids club but now does not. We have a family coming from California and would like to stay in a challet big enough for four adults and four kids in central Chamonix, in a quiet and nice part of the town. Anyone have any recommendations? We%26#39;ve contacted many places so far, and for some reason or another it hasn%26#39;t worked out. Pet allergies are a concern. Thank you for any help you can give. Have you tried calling the tourist office? They%26#39;re usually very helpful.
