69 Bus

Where do you catch the 69 bus and where does it go?

Go to www.ratp.fr

click on %26quot;plans des lignes%26quot;

click on %26quot;bus%26quot;

enter %26quot;69%26quot;

print the .pdf image of the bus route

Remember to sing the Gainsbourg way: %26quot;Soixante-neuf, le bus érotique / Il pardonnera ses caprices / Jusqu%26#39;en soixante-dix%26quot;

Just change the number for any route:

If you go in the front entrance of Pere La Chaise Cemetary you can wander thru it and exit in back to Place Gambetta. There you can take the # 69 bus thru Eastern Paris...some of the Marais district...THRU the Louvre....past the D%26#39;Orsay Museum to Champs Du Mars at the edge of the Eiffel Tower. It%26#39;s a great ride. Try not to do it during the busy %26quot;rush%26quot; hour (I rode it on a Saturday afternoon) and sit on the left side along the window if possible.

You could of course just take the Metro to Place Gambetta and ride it or take it from Champ Du Mars to Place Gambetta.
