we%26#39;ll be in paris for 8 days in early august (2august - 8august). unfortunately, this is thursday-wednesday, so a carte orange doesn%26#39;t seem like a good travel option.
we%26#39;ll stay 2 days in paris and the rest at disneyland, but will want to go into paris a few times from there.
i%26#39;m trying to get my hands around the attributes of teh various passes, both museums and travel.
so, here are some questions AND free advice is graciously appreciated -
Museums - what is the difference between the museum pass and the paris pass? do they cover the same museums?
i know line jumping is a positive to the museum pass, but are there other advantages? any idea on the cost of the entrance fees? in other words, how many museums would we have to see a day for it to save us money?
lastly, my daughter is 15, i understand she%26#39;ll be free in museums, right?
travel - i know the paris visite zone 5 will get us to/from disney, but is the mobilis 5 cheaper? we%26#39;ll need a metro coverage in the first two days when we are in paris proper, would a paris visite be better then?
from what i gather the %26quot;extras%26quot; for the paris visite aren%26#39;t worth it, agree?
i very much appreciate any help. i%26#39;m seriously confused!

I%26#39;ll respond here and %26quot;there%26quot;..
The Paris tickets and pass prices are at the link below. You can also get the ticket price for one way on RER Disney-Paris.
Use %26#39;Disneyland, Chessy%26#39; and %26#39;Chatelet, Paris%26#39; as the travel points.

For 2 days in Paris maybe you don%26#39;t need a pass, maybe just a carnet or two will cover you all.
Most museums covered by the Pass are either already free (some of them) or average 6-9E per person entrance. You%26#39;d have to do a little cost analysis based on the exact museums you%26#39;d want to see. It%26#39;s gone up enough in price to pretty much erase the cost/benefit, so going to head of line is about it.
If you are leaving from Paris out of CDG you could use a Carte Orange Monday-Thursday - 5zones covers the RER or the Roissybus to CDG. If you%26#39;re leaving directly out of DLP, though, not sure that it would help you there.
Is there a truly compelling reason you are staying at DLP the majority of your time %26#39;in%26#39; Paris..? It will take at least 45 minutes each way in travel time, every day.
