Calais Frethun

Does anyone know how to get from the ferry terminal to Calais Frethun please and any good hotels really close to either? Ta.

The only way is by taxi as the TGV terminal at Fréthun is a little way out of the town about 15kms.

There is a Holiday Inn quite close to the station (but still not walkable) at Coquelles.

But if you are on foot there is nothing to do anywhere around this hotel.

Thanks for the info. Yep, we are on foot. Are there plenty of taxis around the terminal or would you advise booking one in advance? How expensive are taxis? Ta.

There are usually plenty but in the worse case scenario (which I cannot foresee) take the free shuttle to the railway station where there are always loads

Sorry missed your first reply, cost should be about 20-25€ for a taxi.
