Trip Photos-Giverney, La Petite Chaise, Canal St Martin...

My Flickr.Com account only let me upload about 1/2 my photos. Here are some from Giverney, La Petite Chaise - the oldest restaurant in Paris on rue Grenelle.

I also walked the Canal St. Martin from the south end of Parc Villette down to where the canal goes under the street. There are some photos of that.

A couple of photos of Chartier are mixed in with some from a group I accompanied to Notre Dame.

I don%26#39;t think there is one shot of me in the whole bunch!

Great pics, thanks! I wasnt sure about visiting Giverney, but seeing your pics I will defintly put it on the list. 1 question, how did you manage to get Paris all to yourselves........the streets are so empty. LOL

Riz,

It seems that they had the air show in town so everyone was out watching that while I had the town to myself.

Actually, I got to Giverney when it opened and I rushed over to the water lilly pond where I got some great shots. In about an hour, it was so crowded that they needed someone to direct traffic on the Pont Japonaise!

Such lovely pictures of such happy people! I never realized how beautiful Giverney is. Those flowers are simply gorgeous, Pixfield!

Pix, maybe I will get lucky and find another air show in september.....no such luck I%26#39;m sure. Good tip about getting to Giverney very early.

All my photos are up there now, including the ones of me at Christian Constant%26#39;s new restaurant, and some of the more somber ones of the plaques that you will find in the Marais.

Who are the people in the photos?

|||

Starbucks and Kosher Pizza........lol

Giverney has now become an absolute must! Now I would love to hear about some of your restaurant pics!
