Cost of taxi from CDG to Paris

Does any one know how much a taxi costs from CDG airport into Paris?

Depends on traffic and where you are going. For me (going to Opera) it is often around 40 Euros. I have heard 35 and 55 Euros from other people.

As I remember, 2 weeks ago on a Friday around noon, our taxi from CDG to the hotel Louvre Rivoli in the 1st E was about 43 Euros when the additional amount for extra suitcases (3 altogether) were taken into account.

it was 40 from Montmartre on a Sunday -- but we had called a cab and so it arrived with 10E on the meter (when you call a cab, you have to pay its total transit time)

we have paid as much as 60 from the center and with heavier traffic

we just went from the latin quarter, it was about 44 euro in light traffic, but when we got there he added 10 for some reason I did not understand. But he did not start the meter until we left and had baggage, so I assume he wanted that money off the meter.

I had not trouble with the 10, we had a lot of luggage, for the distance I thought the price was very fair.

We got caught in unbelieveable traffic last month on a Friday morning. It ended around 75 euro. Ouch! We thought maybe the driver was lost at one point because he took a very different route from our previous trip.

Hi, I%26#39;m arriving in August and would like to know how much do you tip the cab driver? Are tips included?

Any quess on what the traffice would be like around 11 or 12 on Bastille day. That is when we arrive and trying to decide on the taxi or RER or possible shuttle

Just returned from Paris. We took the Air France bus shuttle for 13 euros per person to the Gare Montparnass and then a 5 euro taxis to our hotel in the St. Germain area. . Getting the shuttle was easy.

See the problem is time of day and traffic, for instance,, VoyageMonAmi,, you didn%26#39;t save much by taking the Air France bus and taxi combination, that would have totalled 36 euros ,, and on some days, in some traffic, it would have only been 40 euros to taxi straight from airport. Not a huge difference. At rush hour though, the taxi would have cost alot more, so every case is different.

Just realized my math is off, it only totalled 31 euros as the extra 5 euros is not per person as the shuttle.
