my husband and I will celebrate 1st Anniversary in Paris the first week of November this year. I have reserved a standard room with terrace at the Hotel Duc de Saint Simon. we wanted a superior room but non available with terrace. I am concerned about booking a standard room but usually a terrace is a plus. any insite into the standard rooms at this hotel? thankyou.

Hotel Duc de Saint Simon is a small, very French hotel. The location is terrific. I stayed here under very different circumstances - I brought my 78 and 83 year old parents to Paris for their first trip but I think it would be great for a 1st anniversary. However, why a terrace in November? Check the weather for that time of year. We visited in mid-October and it was quite cool and rainy. Can%26#39;t imagine you%26#39;ll spend any time on a terrace. Our rooms were very small but charming! The concierge also was very helpful. I%26#39;m happy to answer other questions.
