I can%26#39;t help you with this hotel, bite the neighborhood is great. it is a residential area, it is the best way to discover the typical parisian way of life; The market of rue Cler is really parisian. It is a calm area with lots of good restaurants.
I am used to this area, and I used to go to the Hotel Saint Dominique, http://www.saintdominique.com/ , it is a great 2 stars hotel, newly renovated, and nicely decorated. It has good prices.People there are really nice.
Enjoy Paris

Hi travelnutty,
I will be going to Paris in October and I just heard from my hotel concierge that I will be there for the World Rugby Cup. I am definitely not thrilled by these news. Do you know will this mean that the city will be totally nuts and mayhem? I am staying at the Hotel Luxembourg Parc and I got a great deal on a superior room but facing the Rue Vaugirard which I heard can be kind of noisy. Now to get a courtyard facing room they want 40 EUR more a night! Any idea if with this Rugby Cup its going to be extra loud and noisty in the streets? Thanks a lot!
