the easiest way to get from paris air port (cdg)to lyon?

can any body tell me what is the easiest way to get from the paris air port -cdg-to lyon?

which is the station to lyon? how to get there from the airport?

please-as many details as possible :-)

There is a TGV station at CDG. I would suggest going to to train ticket instructions in the %26quot;FAC%26quot; post at the top of the first page of the forum, and checking to see whether there is a direct train and, if not, whether you can get one with only one transfer (without going into Paris).

Yes there is a direct, non stop TGV train (TGV=high speed) from the CDG train station to Lyon. (the station is located right in the airport, terminal 2), It took two hours. You don%26#39;t go through Paris at all.

I followed MorganB%26#39;s instructions in the trip advisor forums for buying tickets on the French rail site, and printed them out at home. For TGV trains you are required to purchase tickets in advance, but I don%26#39;t think you can purchase tickets any sooner than 3 months in advance.

I don%26#39;t know the answer to your question, but I think the information to purchase a train ticket in advance on the high speed train from CDG to Lyon sounds right- and I think this is the FAQ site they mean- a very detailed step by step tutorial on how to navigate the SNCF train ticket purchase site. I know it looks horribly complicated , but everyone who has used it says if you print out these directions and follow them , it will work beautifully- otherwise you may be one of the many who post here having a tough time using the ticket purchase site. Apparently this person should get the Nobel Prize for figuring it all out:

Good luck on your quest- I%26#39;m sure others will jump in and help if necessary- but give the SNCF site a look- I%26#39;m pretty sure it will have the train you need!
