Roissy question...

Here I come with one more of those boring roissy questions...

Is terminal D and F close in aerogare 2? Im will be in transit there and have crazy 40 minutes only to change planes.

And will I have to pass trough security again? After all im first traveling within EU and then to America. I know they will hold the plane for me (or atleast I hope so), but I know I still will be stressed.

Thanks in Advance.

They are roughly 600 m apart, on the same %26quot;side%26quot;. But see below...

There will be an Air France shuttle, or maybe even a private van. However, traffic in an airport is nothing but straightforward, and it may take up to 15 minutes to cover the 600 m ...

CDG terminal buildings #2-D and #2-F are connected by the SNCF/TGV train station and will be perhaps the 600 metes apart as previously noted....but you want to remain within the security controlled %26#39;..In-Transit..%26#39; areas of the terminals so that you do not have to pass through airport security again. So when you exit your inbound/arrival flight at CDG (CDG #2-D??) ask either a flight attendent or gate agent to point you to the Transfer Desk so that you can follow the CORRESPONDENCE / TRANSFER passages to the Air France Transfer shuttle bus...from CDG #2-D to CDG #2-F, for your outbound / departure flight to the US.

As also previously noted, the Transfer shuttles can take longer to make the connection than the simple distance indicated would seem. I%26#39;ve gone temporarily blank on the route the Air France Transfer shuttle takes around CDG #2...but my recollection is that it%26#39;s route runs counter-clockwise, so there could be stops at CDG #2 B, #2-A, #2-C, #2-E before arriving at #2-F....the long way %26#39;round.

Check the details at---

aeroportsdeparis.fr/Adp/…

For diagrams of the various CDG #2 terminal buildings (you can print these out to carry with you (ask a flight attendent or gate aget to circle the relevant places to Start and Finish)--http://www.aeroportsdeparis.fr/Adp/en-GB/Passagers/Arrivees/PlansGuidesPratiques/

Forty(40) minutes SHOULD be sufficient time to make the Transfer connection....but it%26#39;s NOT a lot of time to absorb delays and mis-steps anlong the way (and don%26#39;t count on that AF to be all that helpful...or much concerned about you making your connection).... so, BE PREPARED.

Thank you! I will arrive at F then im going to D, I worry also because when you travel within the EU its not very strict, you ca use your ID, you dont need passports etc, but then I will travel to USA, so thats why I was afraid that I would have to go trough security again, cause in many EU cities there is a second security to pass when you are going to the states. But its cool its not at CDG will save me loads of time! And I really beg the plane is not late then!

Best Regards Emma

Are you sure about this??...arriving at CDG #2-F ?...and then connecting to an outbound flight to the US from CDG #2-D ?

Which airline are you flying out of CDG? Unless you are flying to another European city from CDG, to connect to your final flight to the US....I%26#39;m pretty sure that there are no direct flights from CDG #2-D to the US.

Yes it might be the other way around, Im in Paris now and have my ticket in sweden so I cant check, but I went to the homepage and I think you are right! Thank you=)
