Hotels in Cap Ferret

Hi,

We (husband, teenage son and me) are planning to spend a few days in Cap Ferret at the very end of August, but I am having difficulty in deciding on a hotel or chambre d%26#39;hote.

I would like something comfortable, fairly stylish but not too precious or pretentious. I have ruled out Maison du Bassin on those grounds! So if anyone has suggestions or recommendations I would love to hear from you.

Friends of ours recently stayed in the Royal Riviera in Cap Ferrat and enjoyed it thoroughly. The address is royal-riviera.com.

Thanks for taking the time to reply to my post. Unfortunately the hotel you recommend is in Cap Ferrat (Cote d%26#39;Azur) not Cap Ferret (Aquitaine). I must say it does look gorgeous, but in any case would have been way over our rather more slender budget!
