Hi,
We have an early flight from Orly and need to be there by 6 AM. We are staying at the Best Western Premier Bradford Elysees at 10, rue Saint Philippe du Roule, Paris 75008, France.
Is it best to get a taxi so early or book a shuttle? Would the hotel be able to call in advance for a taxi to make sure we got one on time. How much time should we allow to get there?
Thanks for your help!

book a taxi through the hotel the night before -- we have never had a taxi not show up right on time when we have booked from an apartment -- but in a hotel, if there were a problem, they could then get another taxi quickly -- when a taxi is called for you, you do pay the time getting to you --
decide on when you need to be at the airport and add a little fudge factor and then have the hotel help calculate when you need to leave
NEVER IMHO take a shuttle TO the airport -- I say this having once nearly missed a plane because a shuttle driver got lost and spent an hour asking random passersby for the directions he needed (I am not making this up) in order to get the final passenger -- ONLY because I booked way too early did we make the plane -- If I had given it the usual time recommended we would have missed the plane --
European shuttles are not reliable enough to risk a high stakes flight
