Hi alexia,

Friends of mine recently stayed at La Malmaison, and were very pleased with hotel. You%26#39;re a short walk to the Pietonne( the walking promenade) with a wide selection of restaurants, and a five minute walk to the Promenade des Anglais, which is the strolling Avenue that runs along the beaches. It is about a good ten minute walk to the old town, but easy walking, which is probably where you%26#39;ll spend a good amount of time. Try to get to the daily morning flower and produce market on the cours Saleya, which is right next to the old town, and a climb or elevator ride to the top of the Colline du Chateau for some breathtaking views of Nice and the sea. Even a picnic in the park like atmosphere at the top can be fun. Enjoy!
