I have been reading %26quot;Frommer%26#39;s Memorable Walks in Paris%26quot; it is a great little book and I love the history behind everywhere it takes you. Has any of you done one of these walks in the book and which was your favorite or least favorite?
I just thought it would be fun to do one of these one day on our holiday. Looking forward to reading your responses!
Cheers,

I think I have done them all!
It is hard to pick a favorite cause they are so different... but high on the list is the Marais, Montmarte, St-Germain-des Pres and the Two Iles La Citie and St. Louis.

We used the book on a couple of trips. We did our own versions of a few of the walks - skipping some stops, shortening the stops, combining a couple. We did find that they were helpful to pin-point some spots and were very useful. We particularly enjoyed Montmarte - and were able to find the Dali Museum(don%26#39;t miss this) from the book. the Ile de al Cite was also a helpful one.

I haven%26#39;t used that one, but used on about walks involving impressionist painters. It was mostly fun, although some results were not that great (i.e., %26quot;if it were still here, this address would be where the house was that X lived in for two years%26quot;).

We did Walk #1 our last Saturday there - and it was the highlight of our trip.
Hit me up if you%26#39;d like the see our pics from that walk.
