Trip Oct Sydney - Paris Business Class Thai or Ethiad?

Hi looking to fly for a holiday in Oct, and the two best business class tickets I can find are about 6,000 with either Thai or Ethiad. Anyone flown with these carriers recently and can rate them? I am aware of the recent problems with Ethiad jailing some passengers for bad behavious, trust me, i%26#39;m pretty sedate :-))
