Booked hotel santa fe for 5 nights in August we paid 235.50 euros per room per night that inc 6 days disney pass.
How far is this hotel from the parks and the disney village [walking]?
Would you recommened this hotel or is their any other disney hotels you would prefer at a similar price?

If you walk I reckon it will take you about 25 minutes to the park. Maybe even slightly longer. Alternatively you can catch the free shuttle bus fro the hotel.
The Santa Fe is the cheapest of the Disney hotels that are on site next is Cheyenne, Sequoia Lodge, Newport Bay, New York and finally the Disneyland hotel itself. Its a lower price because its further out, the views aren%26#39;t the same as when you are looking over lake Disney from the New York for example, it doesn%26#39;t have a pool. That kind of thing.
BUT its still a Disney hotel so has the magic, its the one a lot of the tour operators use especially for the coach packages and its only somewhere to sleep.
Are you considering changing your hotel - couldn%26#39;t work that out from your comment?

Thanks for your help. Ive read some other posts that say its only about 10 mins walk who do i believe??????
Yes i was thinking about changing hotels but dont want to pay to much more than i already am. I would like to be in walking distance to the parks etc.

Well I can tell you that from the New York which is right by Lake Disney it would take you approx 8 minutes to walk through the Disney village and right to the park entrance. The lower the star rating of the hotel, the further away they are. If you look on this site hotels.disneylandparis.co.uk/index.xhtml - select the Santa Fe and then on the bottom right there is a %26quot;to locate this hotel%26quot;. If you click that it opens an interactive map. You can see the Santa Fe on the far right and on the far left the Disneyland Hotel and beyond that the park itself.
You come out of the hotel following the disney river, under the underpass, come out by Hotel New York, past Lake Disney, through the Disney Village and then you are in the main plaza where you can turn left to the Studios or right to the park.
I%26#39;ve stayed at the Sequoia, its the furthest out and yes we were pushing a buggy at the time but even so its a good 20 minutes walk. Maybe if you are all adults you can do it quicker but with kids no.
Its more than 10 minutes even if you get the shuttle bus round.

Hi
Have stayed at most Disney properties in Paris. Santa Fe was about 15 minute walk and our kids were small at the time, Its not a mile and our room was close to reception, so at the far end. It takes as long on the bus and you have to walk from the bus park, which isn%26#39;t just outside the entrance, like you%26#39;d expect.
Have fun and enjoy the Disney scenery!
